Rotten New Bill for Israel

There is a new bill in Congress that has immediately sparked huge outrage. The new United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative would merge the US and Israeli military apparati like never before.=

If passed, this proposal would link up US and Israeli weapons production, link up military intelligence systems and data, combine operations involving drones and AI, and would also require the US to integrate Israeli military technology in critical sections of its own supply chain.

This type of move is unprecedented in history. No other country has ever enjoyed the kind of open-door access to the core of the US military-industrial complex as this bill is proposing handing over to Israel.

And this has absolutely nothing to do with military strategy. This is a manoeuvre to counter the movement against the genocide in Gaza. Calls to cut off US aid to Israel are coming in from all sections of the working class. US imperialism needs to make sure this never happens. Their solution is to take Israel far beyond foreign aid and enmesh the Israeli state so deeply in the military apparatus that it can never be cut out again.
